Should you choose to pick up your car from the airport, a Rex Varadero representative will meet you upon arrival and handle all outward and return formalities for you, without your intervention. All vehicles may be collected and returned in the same fashion, therefore no taxis or courtesy buses are required from the Rent-A-Car office to the airport.

of conditions for the rental service we provide. You
must meet these conditions when you rent your car through
us. Please read carefully what is explained below.
Limited Mileage
Typically more vehicle with limited mileage have a 100
KM per day limit.
Unlimited Mileage
All vehicles are available with daily limits besides
Limousines.
Insurance
Insurance is mandatory. Note that the insurance options
offered by some credit cards are not valid for the insurance
payment in Cuba and will not be accepted. The insurance
contract covers only one driver. You may add additional
drivers at a cost of 10.00 CUC each day.
Deductable Insurance
Often referred to as insurance A, Covers any damage
over a deductible of 250.00 CUC. You are thus liable for
any amount up to 250 CUC. The prices of this insurance
type are specified with each car model.
Full Insurance
Often referred to as insurance B, Covers all damage,
theft, accident or complete loss of the vehicle. Covers
damages to the driver, passengers and third parties
based upon the terms of the rental agreement.
Drop off
If a car is dropped off in a different province from
the one in which it was rented; A surcharge is added
to the rates to cover the extra cost of this option.
Payment
We accept full payment for the rental period via credit
card using our On-Line Payment System. All credit cards
are accepted including those from US Banks for online
payment
Other payments
Insurance is payable by you upon arrival. If you would
prefer to pay insurance prior to your arrival please
discus this with your agent when booking
Deposit
All vehicles require a deposit. Unlike many countries you can pay this deposit
in cash and do not need to present a credit card if you prefer the cash
option. This amount will be refunded to you at the end of the rental period
by the rental car agency. The deposits start at 200.00 CUC and will increase
depending upon the value of the vehicle (300.00 CUC and 500.00 CUC respectively)
Disclaimer When you rent a vehicle you are subject to the terms and conditions
of the rental agreement with the specific agency. Insurance is provided
by the agency based upon your selection of policy and this will appear upon
